"What do you think happens after we die?"

What happens to us before we are born? Perhaps it is the same type of transformation. We are not really our own before conception, where we are just the merging of cells. And before that we technically "were" very completely different beings. Perhaps dying is similar? One thing becomes two, and, over time, many more after that.
